Mold Remediation Specialists
Capital Remediation has an advanced understanding of mycology and microbiology as well as the testing, inspection and remediation protocols necessary to return mold contaminated properties to a healthy state. Because of our intense specialization and many years of experience, we see firsthand the additional property damage, health risks and increased costs incurred when mold is not remediated according to the proper Standard of Care.
We always approach jobs involving mold with this in mind and guarantee that our projects will pass clearance or we will come back and perform any additional work required at no charge as well as pay for the additional testing fees.
During water, sewage or mold remediation projects, containments generally are separated into three basic types: source containment, local containment, and full-scale containment.
SOURCE CONTAINMENT may be used:
- To address relatively small or limited areas of mold growth.
- Alone when mold growth is limited to small visible controllable areas where hidden mold growth is not anticipated.
- When there are small or limited areas of mold growth, and hidden mold growth is anticipated, a more extensive containment should be used.
LOCAL CONTAINMENT may be used when moderate levels of fungal growth are visible or suspected. A structural enclosure can be built to contain a work area and separate it from the unaffected section of the room or structure. In a local containment HEPA-filtered air filtration devises (AFDs), when used as negative air machines (NAMs), are installed to create negative pressure differentials in relation to surrounding areas.
FULL-SCALE CONTAINMENT normally are used when significant or extensive mold growth is present or suspected, and where source and local containments cannot effectively control or eliminate cross-contaimination.
The Microbial Remediation Experts
Capital Remediation provides expert microbial remediation of commercial, residential and industrial properties. We are specialists in restoring structures damaged by:
- Sewage and Black Water
- Flooding and Other Water Damage
Capital Remediation’s proprietary processes and protocols have been developed over the course of 20 years of real world experience resulting in the highest levels of expertise restoring properties contaminated by these bio-hazards. Capital Remediation strictly adheres to the ANSI-approved Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) S500 Water Damage and S520 Microbial Remediation procedural standards. We also follow the recommended standards
published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and other accepted standards released by professional and government organizations related to our industry. We also restore fire and smoke damaged properties with the same expertise and professional attention that we give to the most hazardous of microbial situations.
